Setter & Libero CAMPS 2012
TOPS volleyball academy is extremely excited to offer specialized Setters and Libero training camp this spring 2012, for both male and female volleyball athletes! Outside hitters are welcome to join. This specialized camp is designed to introduce the expectations for the next level of play while providing a training environment to compliment the athlete’s club season and beach season. TOPS will teach the technical, physical and tactical aspects of these positions, and will also be an ideal tune up for athletes preparing for the OVA beach season and next year club season.
TOPS is committed to challenging the athletes by maximizing their potential and giving them an opportunity to advance in their development.

Boys Session: June 2-3, 2012

• Unique ChildHeese content/curriculum mixing skill instruction/game situation instruction with Olympic themed attitudes and values
• Programs designed to find perfect balance between the challenging nature of the sport and fun/enjoyment
• Introduction to the mental side of the game or “mental toughness”
• Learn the strategies and tools that John and Mark used to reach the Olympic podium
• “Keep it Simple” approach to volleyball skills instruction and game strategies (Passing, Setting, Attack, Digging, Serving, Blocking, defensive strategies, serve reception strategies, transition situations, etc.

1st Annual Waterloo Region 4 v 4 High School Beach Volleyball Championships
The tournament will be extended to two days if demand warrants it. The club is working on getting DJ Gorula to provide the music for the championships.

PVB Ashbridges Bay Youth Beach Volleyball Camps
PVB (Professional Volleyball) is offering 6 new beach volleyball camps for the summer of 2012. Celebrating 13 years at Ashbridges Bay, our certified high level instructors continue to inspire thousands of aspiring athletes in the game of beach volleyball. The club welcomes male and female athletes from ages 7 to 18 yrs.  Beginner, intermediate and elite programs are all in place. Strength and Conditioning and Nutritional guidelines for athletes are incorporated in all our camp programs. Book early to reserve a spot!

Stratford Volleyball Camp by Abstract Volleyball
The Stratford Abstract Volleyball Camp is part of the 2012 Abstract Volleyball High Performance Camp series. Each on-court volleyball session at the Abstract HP day camps will be lead by Jesse Knight and his 15 years of CIS, NCAA and International Coaching experience. The assistant coaches are also all ex-CIS and ex-Team Canada Athletes. Finally each day will provide high performance sessions including the likes of nutrition, mental training, physical training, recruiting seminar etc...

Club Girls Gold Medal Camp
Gold Medal Camps work to get you to the gold medal level. The camp uses faster paced drills to improve game play, team play, decision-making and overall speed. Drills will be position specific and competitive in a team format played at a quicker pace and higher intensity.
